Butterfly Bloom is a maximalists fantasy, embodying bold is better, to provide a fun and daring ensemble that is warm, colourful, exciting and filled with contrast. Not for the shy, this piece is made to be seen, and paraded with confidence. 

 

Butterfly Bloom is a collection of textile designs that were used in the production of one final garment. The project is inspired by Haute Couture and bespoke design, looking at 'made to order' clothing as a means of remaining sustainable. As a designer it's important to hold yourself accountable, therefore only natural or repurposed materials were used, as well as environmentally friendly inks and processes.

Inspired loosely by Australian natives and common flora as well as referencing recognisable butterfly silhouettes, this collection features hand rendered motifs in bright watercolours, showing gradient textures and metallic elements.
